Pinrang: The students of SMAN 11 Pinrang have participated in the last semester assessment for more than a week during 2 – 10 th of December 2019. The examination uses computer as the school has been applied computer based examination for 4 years. This is to minimize papers during examination.
It uses 13 rooms which are filled by 24 students of each. In a room, the students randomly placed . They consist of 3 grades, X,XI, and XII class with similar subject of each examination. The question are also randomly displayed in students’ monitor. It’s purpose is to minimize cheating between the similar grades during examination.
The Supervisor, Drs. Djasman Tanreso, M.Si., M.Pd appreciates the new assessment method when visiting the classrooms ” I hope this method of examination can be applied in other schools examination”, He said.
Muhammad Fadly, a student of X Mia class expresses his impression of this assessment. “This is the first time for me participating in a computer based examination. It’s good for building students’ honesty during the examination where the students are randomly placed in the classroom and the questions displayed also.” He said.
